Tiree is famous for its windsurfing beaches. The island is renowned for its wave sailing and there are a number of beaches all within a short driving distance to give good conditions no matter what the wind direction. You don't necessarly need to be a hot shot to windsurf on Tiree, Loch Bhasopol is ideal to learn. Wild diamond windsurfing run a RYA recognised windsurfing school during the summer months, beginners are welcome. The island is also ideal for surfing and boogie boarding. |
