| Myrtle Bank cottage on the Isle of Tiree is one of two Tiree holiday cottages providing self catering accommodation available on this site for holiday rent in the south west corner of the island. The cottage is a renovated Tiree 'black house' situated amongst a small collection of houses called Mannal. It is only 35 metres from a small sandy beach and the sea. | |

The living room has rendered stone walls painted white with a pine surround at low level. The pine ceiling has open rafters. There is a multi fuel room heater type stove. Other heating is provided by storage heaters.There is satellite television which supplies 'free to view' channels. There is also a video player and a small selection of videos as well as a dvd player and a Sony mini hifi with radio, tape and cd player. |

The kitchen is well appointed, with a fridge, a microwave, toaster, oven and ceramic hob, washing machine and dishwasher. There is a shower room with an instant electric shower, wash hand basin and toilet. There is an electric hot towel rail. Other hot water is provided by immersion heater. |

There is one double bedroom with a double bed and one twin bedroom with two single beds. Both rooms have a view of the sea through Velux windows.There is a small cabin style area at the top of the stairs with one single bed in it. |

The cottage is only a few metres from the sea and there is access down an embankment to a small sandy beach from which there are fine sea views across to Mull and Jura. |

Seals and otters can often be seen on the rocks close by. This picture was taken by my ten year old daughter Catriona, on the rocks close to Myrtle Bank Cottage. |
Linen - You will need to provide your own sheets, duvet covers, pillow cases and towels. Electricity is charged at cost. Pets - Well behaved and clean pets are welcome. |
